Can anyone tell me the accessory thread size on the Kern-Paillard 5.5mm f/1.6 H8 RX Switar lens? I need a step up ring from this accessory thread to 52mm. The accessory thread is larger than 30M.

i believe that would be for the Bolex RX camera so the standard name for the mount would be C-mount.

Yes, the lens is a C-mount, but I need the dimensions of the accessory thread - that's the thread on the front of the lens, not the rear. I want to experiment with some wide angle conversion lenses, but I've been unable to find an adapter to fit the front of the lens.

The factory tells me the thread diameter is 32mm. Presumably, the pitch is 0.5mm or 0.75mm. Does anyone have a clue where I might get an off-the-shelf 32mm to 52mm step-up ring?

That's a very strange size thread. You may have to attach the ring to the Switar by your own method. You may also need two rings to get to 52mm. Try this place in the UK.
