Definately will NOT work.

I always used a 12v pack and never had any problems. The techs will tell you that this can fry the speed control box. But I used a 12v battery dozens of times and never had a problem.

there a resource anywhere that shows, with pics maybe, how to hook up exactly (the wiring etc) the powersource to a battery?
