Not good news on opening up my newly-purchased R16 Electric today. It looks as though someone has at some point plugged it into a power supply with considerably more voltage than it was designed to take. Almost everything on the circuit board is fried - open resistors, dead transistors, vapourised variable resistor tracks etc. I'm just hoping that the motor isn't dead. There is a plus side - mechanically it's very sound and there's hardly a scratch on it.

I've managed to source new components but can't identify the diode - can anyone advise on a suitable replacement? Even better, is there a link out there to the schematic or service manual? I can't find anything via Google.

Many thanks,
Tristan

Posible, the better idea to replace of all electronics ?
If you send me pictures of camera inside, DC motor and other on my e-mail olex@a-teleport.com i can think, possible, i can set new modern crystal synch microprocessor controller inside camera.
And you can receive crystal sync speed camera with a few speeds.
You can see information about my modifications of 29EPSS motors of Kinor-16 and 17EP-16APK motors of Konvas cameras, I can use similar microprocessor for ugrade of electronisc of your camera too.
