Does an original Eclair Super 16mm 1.66 groundglass exists for the NPR?
I'm looking for one, any ideas where I can find one ?
Thanks

The NPR was originally only made in 16mm. Many people have made S16mm conversions for it.

In the UK try:
Les Bosher
http://www.lesbosher.co.uk/

In the USA try:
Bernie O'Doherty
http://super16inc.com/

or
George Zorzoli

My NPR was modified by Les Bosher...but I'm not really totally satisfied with the Ground glass.
Since the NPR was made in S16mm ( not much, I agree) I assume there is some S 16mm GG...I've seen Eclair original S16 spare camera gate...

Yes, there was an Eclair S16 ground glass. I have seen one as part of a conversion kit with S16 gate and S16 turret ages ago at a rental house that no longer exists.

But as to where to find one...?

You can try Gerard Galle in France, but I doubt he has one.

BTW, thanks for the scans of the NPR service manual. Did you say they were scans from the original document or from a photocopy of the original document?

Hi Alain,
I've already looked for a S16mm GG at Gerard Galle place but he hasn't got any...He has many things including a very rare Eclair Panoram switchable 16/S16mm camera...unfortunatly it's in rather bad shape... :(

About the service manual, it came from Gerard's documentations and it was a photocopy that I've scanned.

Dear Thibaut,
I need the service manuals e.g. parts catalogues of eclair NPR & ACL.
If you have scans still, could you please email me.
Thanks a lot... :)
