Hello:
I currently have a field Doc in development for PBS and wish to have it delivered in 5.1 any ideas?
Must I aquire it in field or can we "create" it in post...
Thanks,
Stephen Edwards DP

5.1 mixes are generally created in post.

You can either mix the on-set sound further or completely to the back, sides, front, or just add extra ambience or sound effects to different positions of the speakers.

get your ambiences in stereo (ORTF or MS, I prefer ORTF) and do the rest in post...

I don't think you want to bring this on your set http://www.soundperf...nald_BAP_D.html
