hello,

I recently upgraded from a non rx bolex to a nice RX-4 system. I like the bolex's winding motor as you dont have to carry around batteries etc... but the package i bought also came with a bolex motor without a power supply. the box says its a "bolex electric motor type MC 17" below are some pictures of the motor and the cable. does anyone know what kind of power supply I need to use to run this motor. also where i could buy one. thanks

Mark

It's probably 12v, but in my opinion, it's not worth messing with it, being very old. Get one of the later ones that work on the 1:1 shaft.
Enjoy the Rex 4.

I checked on the motor and it needs 16v for 12-16fps, 24v for 24,32 fps. for the H16.
