Swicth on a modified ACL

Hello,

I just bought an ACL 16mm camera. The mount has been modified for a Van Diemen mount.
Is someone can tell me what is the swicth under the potentiometer on the picture below.

Another thing : the exposure indicator seems to be desactivated or not normally function. Is the Van Diemen mount prevent it ?
