Hi,

Has any one used the "Film Safe" option in FCP?

Apparently it prevents you from making an edit on a pull down frame when cutting a 24fps film originated project.

I was told about it on a different forum but there where no instructions on how to use it? And I can't find it in the FCP menus or FCP help.

Thanks
R,

I'm pretty sure that all film safe does is add a default extra amount of frames when media managing to make sure that the frame is carried on from edit to edit. I have only ever cut pal or 24/ 23.98 native so i have never neeeded to put this into practice.
