I've got a Miller 'F' fluid head that has insufficient damping in the panning action, presumably because of a loss of fluid. I'm a reasonably competent mechanic, but I've not disassembled this fluid head to the extent I assume is necessary to replenish the fluid. What kind of fluid is needed and where can I obtain it? I'm just a hobbyist unwilling to spend $150.00 to $250.00 to have such service performed. I believe this work is well within my capability provided I receive some guidance.

I was advised that my earlier posting of this query in the 'grip' section was inappropriate, so I hope I won't cause further unhappiness posting in this category.
