Learning the Aaton system. Been alot of fun.

I've got a couple of Aaton 12 volt 1.4ah batteries and one Aaton 16 volt 1.8ah battery and an Aaton T4 charger. From reading the Aaton manual, I have a good idea of how the system works, but I have a few questions.

Can the T4 charger be used to charge the 16 volt 1.8ah battery? I can find nothing listed that says it can, but was wondering if others have experience in trying to do this? Does it just take longer than the 5.5 hours that the 12 volt 1.4ah battery takes?

Also, the manual references using the "B2 cable serial connecting cable" to charge two 12 volt batteries at once. Is this just a 4-pin XLR Y cable, wired in parallel? And when you charge two batteries at once, does it still take the 5.5 hours, or does it take twice that, eleven hours?

Thanks for any and all assistance,
-Tim

ahh yes. The T4... Old School.

I believe it safely charges 16v, but I'd have to run that by Girvan.

The B2 splitter cable is a bit more complicated than that. It has a few inline components. Girvan should be able to make one.
