HVX200 on dv

Short question.
I want to use the HVX200 in DV mode for shooting reasons but I know is not anymore HD but wanted to know if using it in DV mode will still give me a better image than dvx100A I mean is it worth it even en DV mode. I havent been able to make a comparison.
ANy info would be great.

Image quality is comperable. But the HVX200 will also allow you to shoot in true 16x9 and the lens is a 12x instead of a 10x, so I would consider it an improvement over the DVX100. We have the occassional client who rents the HVX200 to shoot in DV for just these reasons.
