I just watched 'A Clockwork Orange' by Kubrick. Thanks to netflix, I m getting to watch all them great movies once and for all :)

I had one comment about the movie, it sure is a poster child for the Republican right :D

I had to share my random thoughts :)

If you want to understand Kubrick a bit better, check out "Kubrick: Inside A Film Artist's Maze" by Thomas Allen Nelson.

You need to watch all of Kubrick's films to fully appreciate the book.

I just bought a used DVD of 2001. I can't emphasize enough how useful a digital projector and white-painted wall is. This thing (2001), painfully slow as it is, kicked my butt visually. If you know that SK started out as a still photographer, then you can slow down your motion expectations and appreciate his composition and other still related elements.

Just a thought.
