I'm in doubt about getting a power suply, I have two options 9v 10A or 6v 10A which one is best?
About the battery, I own a 6v 12A, the amperage is too high?

I worry to use of any AC-DC power supply with 15 EPSS power unit.
The matter is that, the electronics of power unit desiged for use of batetry only.
Any case, if you will have idea to test power unit with AC-DC power supply, i will glad to know result.
The my experimens had bad result.

The original 15EPSS motor power unit use 8.2 V 15 Ah battery.
I use 6 v 4ah battery for speed up to 25 fps. But, the camera work not long time and i will need repalce of battery.
You can use 6 v 10..12 Ah batteries.

The camera with good condition, lubricated, with good motor and 6 v battery will have fixed speed 24 fps.
I use 6 v 4 ah batteries for personal shooting a long time and 4 ah battery run 4 pcs of 60 m magazines and more.

Your problem need to divide on three parts.
The first part - condition of battery. The battery must be charged and must have 6,2..6,25 v on disconnect position and near 5.6..5.8 v with run of motor.

The second part - condition of motor.
The DC motors inside motor module can have problem. The power unit can have problem with electronics or
volume of speed adjust not correct on power unit.
You need disconnect motor from body of camera and run separately.
If you send me e-mail on olex@a-teleport.com, i can show you variable resistors for adjust of speed for every position of speed switch.

The next part - condition of camera.
If you disconnect motor and magazine, the axis of camera ( inside hole for connect motor ) must be turn wihout big effort. If you will need big efforts, the mechanism of camera must be serviced, adjust and oil.

The problem can have film magazine too. You can load film not correct.
The speed meter of camera can have problem or adjust uncorrect.

For information, The red 24 and 32 fps position of power unit switch of electronic on forced mode for work with low temeperature or high-power load.
The power unitcan work not more 1 minutes on this mode with wait 3..5 minutes after every run.
NOt need use of this mode without absolute necessity.
