There's 20,000 feet of 5247 for sale on eBay in one lot. The majority is new in sealed cans. Storage conditions seem iffy but for those who like 5247 it could be a good deal.

$1 minimum bid plus $48 shiping = $49; about $3,000 more than it's worth.

Interesting...the seller's id is "underdahl". Could this possibly be Douglas Underdahl author of the The 16mm camera book?

I would tend to agree, but on the bright side, it is the Revised bleach version, so it is LATE PRODUCTION 5247. It could be 10 years older!

Well OK, good for testing mags etc.

But I don't understand the obsession with short-dated-by-years film stocks here. Unlike fine wine, there are few vintage emulsions that improve with age :D

If there's some formal, experimental reason, OK.

But my point is you've in effect bought ~ $ 2500 - 3000 worth of processing.....if you shot it all... for... ????
