hey,

i spend more time in "the other forum" these days, but i thought you guys might be interested in some k40 nostalgia. :-) i shot this the day before the deadline and sent it express to switzerland. shot with a canon 814e. flashscan telecine by kent at uppsala bildteknik. follow this link and click "lisa lindal":

I didn't realize that was Super-8 when I watched it -- very nice!

I liked the set design. I might have chosen a solid colored dress for the girl, and put the band in a more interesting spot than against a wall, but otherwise, it turned out well.

Very nice, the blacks were so rich and deep, Kodachrome will be sorely missed. I especially liked the flares from the practicals and the girl's skintone I think was perfect for this stock, she looked great.
