I have been given a Bolex H16 non-Reflex (early with the the circular mount)

It looks as if it takes double perf. serial **317

anyone know if it runs single or double perf and what is the easiest way to tell.

Thanks, that site is very informative. It still doesn't list any info as to the single or double perf that I am aware of. If anyone has any more input I would appreciate it.

Thread a couple of feet of single perf through it.

If the non perf side is damaged, it only takes double perf.

Yes, It seems that sometimes common sense is the last thing I use.

Turns out it is single. It has what looks like 2R rollers, but the 1R runs clean and had no problem.

thanks for all the help
