this subject may have been discussed already but i don't find it in the past topics.

for a short film i'll start filming in algeria next week i intend to use a 2.35 letter box format cropt in the 16/9 nativ format.
can i achieve this in the camera?
can i have in the view finder such a box as a reference?
thank you

Yes you can crop in the view finder. You must go into the MENU system and change the viewfinder guidlines to your desired aspect ratio.

go to OPERATIONS: MARKER: ASPECT MODE

Here you can also adjust the MASK shading so that you can either see what is just outside of your frame or not.

good luck

F

Whoops. I just realized you are using the 750 and not the 900. Soooo I don't know if the menu is the same but it should be.

Anyone?
