In "INSIDE MAN" Mattew Libatique lighting inside of the bank use 4K tungsten lighting cubes.

And, some outdoor ambience source comes from the lighting cubes.

I saw a lot sphere shape balloons but never saw cube ones.

My question is what's the difference between sphere ones and cube ones?

and what is the more preferable thing recently? Why?
