FYI..

"Quinceañera" is now out on dvd! This is the low budget HD film I shot two years ago that won Sundance '06.

I just got my copy and there is even some interviews with us on it.

Enjoy!

Side note: There is a trailer for "The Quiet" on the dvd, another small HD film shot by Mr. David Mullen. Small town...

Hey Eric,

Just watched the movie, fantastic work, I enjoyed every moment of it (except for the part when the apartment owners were being total dicks...I wanted to punch somebody)

But yeah, wonderfully shot. The scenes on tio Tomas' patio were particularly beautiful, and one shot that comes to mind is when Magdalena's mother is waiting in the kitchen for her husband to arrive. It had a very painterly look to it.

I did notice a strange artifact, don't know what the cause of it was. But at about 34 minutes into the film, during the shot of Magdalena putting her quinceanera dress on, there was a color temperature shift in the image. Don't know if you've noticed it or not.

Still, I loved it, tears were welling up towards the end there
