Have any films that have done well ever been edited with imovie. Either gained distrubution or done well at film fests. Im looking to do a feature and I was wanting to see if I should upgrade to final cut pro.

Go out and rent "Tarnation"

A great little experimental documentary directed and edited by an actor who simply had a story to tell, and it works fantastically (although sometimes you can tell he's just having fun with the special effects available in the program)
