I posted this in another forum but haven't received any responses, so I thought I would try here.

I am looking for some good tutorials or reading on how to film a music video. I am looking for the format of shooting...music videos are broken down into many shots with different locations but the same dialogue and I need to know the best way to synch it. How do I use the slate on a music video? What am I doing to keep track of where I am during the shoot? I'm assuming all videos are probably storyboarded with the lyrics and the artist sings to the music being played, but I would like to read something on it. This is kind of vague, I know, but I have never done one before and I need to know where to start. I'm sure I can figure it out myself but I need confirmation.

If this IS too vague, let me know and I will explain what I do and don't know further.

Thanks
