Hi,

I know all the ins and outs and why/wheres/whos/wotnots/reasons of why Kern and Bolex developed the reflex prism and RX range of Switar lenses so we don't need another thread re. that ol' bean

What I am looking for is any reports from people who have used RX lenses - specifically the Switar 10mm preset or standard and the Macro-Switar 26mm preset on a non-prism 16mm camera, an older parallax bolex would be perfect but any info re. other c-mount cameras would be just as helpful ...

I found mention of a 10mm Switar RX producing good footage on an ACL or something in another thread but I am unsure of which model, f-stop or what they were shooting etc...

I am converting an old parallax Bolex into a lightweight/super16/motor driven beast but need to make a new lens mount, I'm just hoping I can use my wide/normal RX lenses - rather than go with technical advice from a few mis-interpreted manuals from 40 years ago I thought an actual test would do the trick and was hoping someone else had already been down this path.

Go team Bolex !

cheers in advance,
Nick
