Hey everyone,

So, the director I'm working for has a Frezzolini LW-16 that we're going to shoot with.

He said the lens that came with is a "c-mount" Angenieux 12-120 zoom type lens, but that at wider f-stops (don't know the specifics yet) there tends to be some blurring at the edges of the frame. Also, there's a very good chance that the focus is out of phase with the focal length markings.

I'm not too concerned about the focus issue, I can just compensate for that by getting critical...however, the blurred edges is the big issue.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get it repaired, or if there's a simple DIY method, I'd love to hear it!

Thanks in advance!

The only person I let touch my lenses is Paul Duclos of Duclos Lenses. He also used to be the head lens tech at Angenieux USA back when it was still in business, so he is an expert on the Angenieux lenses. Not 100% sure he is set up to work with C-mount lenses, but it would definitely be worth your while to give him a call.

He's in North Hollywood and can be reached at: (818) 763-6844
