After watching the trailers for Life on Mars I've come to a horrible suspicion...

...Is this thing shot on Digital Video??? :huh:

IMDb tech specs say Super16

I've never heard of nor seen it since I'm a US guy...but supposedly there's going to be a US version starting up soon...booo!

(I still prefer the original "The Office")

Series 1 was definitely S16, but uncertain about Series 2; Kudos had definitely transitioned to HD by the time they shot Hustle Series 4 later that year, though.

I caught a bit of it on tv the other day and it looked like film not tape... though I didn't sit through it all. I'd rather watch The Sweeney any day...
