Lots of little bayonet mount lenses out there. Can they work with camcorders?

Do you mean Arri bayonet? If so, the asnwer is no.
But your question is too generic. Basically every "modern" lens mount is a bayonet mount sort of speaking.

Ahh, sorry. I'm quite dumb when it comes to these things. I suppose I'm wondering if nikon or canon bayonet mounts could work with a camera such as the SDX900. I was not referring to arri mount lenses.

What I'm getting at, is that there are a lot of cheapo lenses out there, and I think it would be fun to buy some different ones and try them out on some 2/3" panasonic cameras.

There are some simple PL-to-B4 adaptors out there, sort of short extension tubes... but usually they require that you invert the image in post or in the camera's menu (if that's an option.)

Trouble with cine lenses is that they weren't designed to focus colors through a prism block onto three separate CCD's for red, green, and blue wavelengths, so they won't be quite as sharp as a good HD lens.

There would be no depth of field advantages from using 35mm cine lenses directly on a 2/3"-CCD video camera.

Read a little about the use of the Angenieux CLA-35 adaptor:
