Heres a couple of pics of my standin helmet cam untill I get the right mounting stuff and smaller MiniDV cam...

Ingredents:
MotoCross helmet
JVC S-VHS-C camera
LOTS of ducttape

Yup :)
As soon as I can afford it (after I get my primary cam) I'll probobly get an Elura and a L-Type braket and a cheep tripod head and do like that.

Well I finally got a chance to try it out. It didn't work. reasons:

-Too heavy. It actually made me ride a lot worse and my neck was about to freeze up after I was done with the 1 mile downhill run.

-Impossible to keep it pointed ahead while keeping the face guard from getting in my way of seeing what I was about to run into.

-Cant fit goggles over it, so i kept getting face slapped by branches and mud in my eye.


So all in all it was a failure, but it was something to try.
