So I'm taking a course in Film finishing and processing at Monaco here in SF. We have to write a proposal for a final project that's due next week. I have an idea or two of what I'd like to do, but was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions that might interest me.
What I was wanting to do is shoot a 100' roll of 7217 in a studio, using various CalColor gels and one setup with various colored objects. I'd shoot various takes of each setup, under exposing, exposing correctly and overexposing to try and determine for myself what works best for achieving more saturated colors, only. I'd manipulate it in processing, printing and telecine as well to see to what extent I can manipulate the images.
Let me know if you have any other ideas.
Recommendations for Processing class project?
