Or, better yet, you could just go to the Library/Manuals section of our web site right here (you know, Cinematograph.com) and download the EBM manual in PDF form, and while you are there you can download the manual for the Bolex 400ft Magazine and the POE 16-100 zoom lens which is very common on the EBM.

PDF manuals for Bolex EBM

Tim Tyler keeps a large selection of motion picture camera manuals on this site, just have a look.

Ape city is good as its got some unique manuals I am yet to find elsewhere but the EBM manual was closer to home than you thought:

http://www.cinematog...?showtopic=3456 (in the manuals section)

as for suggestions on how to learn to use it ... shoot some film !

...longer answer depends on what you're sticking in front of it (the lens and what are you shooting) .... aaand if you are using the 400' mag or not
