Remote focus is not a camera-specific item - you just need to have the ability to power it and the correct gears on the motors. Any camera rental house should have them.

I know Panavision has them, I've used them before with Elaine so I'm positive they should.

MK-V might rent them. Check their site and/or give them a call. If not, look up some steadicam operators where you are. They are likely to have a remote focus system and may rent you a system or know where you can get one.

Hi Brad,

Panavision do have them. Give them a call. I used the one for the sr3 (which I think is also the same one for the 435 and arricam, sorry, not sure what it is called other than the WLCS i'm afraid!) ) which worked no problem on the sr2. Also tell them which lenses you will be using so they can provide you with the correct gears. And best to mention it is an sr2 incase of any cabling issues. Don't think you will have a problem.

Sorry - Tommy, not Brad!
