Hello again...

I am thinking about getting the Panasonic AG-DVX100b but am wanting to be able to edit the footage on a Laptop.

A Dell Laptop I'm looking at has the following spec:

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200,
4 MB L2 Cache,
2048MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024),
160GB (5400rpm) Sata Hard Drive,
256MB Grapghics Card...

Would this be able to cope with editing from the DVX100b ?

I want a Laptop so I can easily edit from it around the U.K

If this is not good enough, could someone tell me the spec I should be looking at in order to have no problems...?

Many thanks in advance..

Rob

That would defiantly be good. The dvx is sd and had low colour data. I've editted dvx footage on my 1.3 ghz 512 ram and cheap video card no problem.

It's more than enough to get the job done.
