Hi folks,
has anyone tried playing back footage shot with JVC's HD110 series in a Sony HVR-M15u? Does it work with the 25U? Any other (cheap) VTRs that would record and play DVCAM as well as HDV 1080i/720p?

Cheers, Dave

No as in it won't work.

To play back JVC tapes you must either use the JVC camera or the JVC deck (HD BR-50).

Dang. But that one won't record DVCAM. I knew it! It was too good to be true!
