I heard somebody say something about shooting macro with the HVX-200 but I don't see
any way on the stock lens. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Just zoom wide and focus...you will see the focus marking turn to MF (Macro focus) I find it easier in Macro to use Auto-focus first, let it settle, switch to manual focus and shoot.

Achromatic Diopter.
It just screws onto the end of the thread mount of your lens.
