Hey guys,

basically I have a few questions on the steps involved in becoming a camera operator, or AC for television shows, or tv commercials. I understand it tends to be a bit more steady of a job than filming movies, but what do you need to do to start, join with an ad agency, or a television station? basically where would you start. also is working in Tv difficult to get started or is it relativly simple?

Thanks for all of the help.

First step, get in touch with your local public acces station. Talk to them about what you want to do, and they will most probobly train you with the basics of TV productions. If your lucky, you will make a few good friends that will teach you alot. Then you can take it from there.
