Plain and simple question here.

If you have the funds is it advisable on buying a 16mm package? - As a student i might add.

question is :
if you had a decent S16mm camera package, will this make you a good enougth cinematographer so you could work in the 16mm world and make enougth money to pay for the investment?
- do you know directors and producers in the indy world
- do you know producers and directors in the music video world
and do they know you as a cinematographer?

the other question is why not investing in a camera rental housse with trucks of light, dollys, a decent studio....

there are many stories to tell and a single cam will not do all the jobs. But also there are no rules some had done great carreers without owning nothing except a light meter and some buildt strong careers and get strarted because they owned a camera.

chek the post in general discussion : what camera do you own and for what buisness

good luck anyway
