Hello All,
After reading a fair few posts on different cameras and equipment, I'm still totally lost. Partly because a lot is down to personal opinion- some like sony, some like panasonic etc. but also I haven't a clue about all the technical jargon that goes on here!!
So here's some info what i'm looking to do:
I'm looking to create my own production company that will produce shorts, commercials, music vids and eventually features- all for broadcast. I would also like to offer a stock footage library.
I have a pretty sizable starting budget (£50,000 upwards to maybe £100,000) but as with everything in life I want to spend the bare minimum!! I realise i need to form a client base first but believe i can reach this with my contacts from previous jobs where I've been hired in.
I would appreciate any help as I don't know where to start- my forte as a film maker is saying "yeah, that looks good" and not "yeah, that looks good- how did we do it"...though I must start!!

Thanks for any help,
charlie

P.S. I'm liking the HDX-900!
