Best way to store unused 16mm film?

Just wondering what is the best method for storing film, how long, what temps, etc. Is it okay to actually put it in the freezer?

Hit the kodak site, they have a whole book on storing film, although most of it is about storing it after it has been shot.. :D

Sealed, refridgerated. John P posted a caution that unless factory sealed that freezing may result in spots from Condensation. Allow to come to room temperature - up to 4 hours for a single can sitting away from others.before opening to avoid condensation getting on the film.
