Not that I would ever be able to actually afford the camera, nor do I even know if you can right out buy one, but how much does a Viper camera go for? How much would a rental house pay for it?

Just wondering out of shear curiosity if anyone knows.

Thanks

About as much as an F900 to buy - and remember, the F900 includes a recorder.

Isn't it like a good 300,000 dollars?

I think that would be more like a complete package with a recorder and lenses, I would imagine the body would probably list around $100k and then be discounted before you buy "accessories" like a viewfinder? I don't know what are considered extras from the basic camera head but that's probably in the ballpark.
