Hi,

I am new to this forum, not sure if this is the correct place to post or not. Hopefully someone can help me.
I recently found a Bell&Howell T20XL Super 8mm camera at my parents house and wanted to try it out with some film. I ordered the film and was about to put it in when I noticed the motor runs fine for about 6-8 seconds or so, then stutters, and stops. If I bang it on the side, it starts up again. Is this just a case of the motor needing some kind of lubrication because it hasn't been used it a long time?

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks
