Hello,

Can anyone tell me which Reg 8 and Super 8 projectors can run at either 18 or 24fps?

Thanks,

GL

I wouldn't expect any silent projector to run at 24. So, any sound projector, I expect.
IIRC the silent speed for 8-mm is 16, not 18.

Any Sound S8 Projector can run at 24 f/s, and likely at 18 f/s for silent Film. As noted above, it's not likely that any Silent Projector can run at 24 f/s, but some do come with adjustable speed control. If you're not intending to convert your Film to Video, then you can film with 18 f/s -- you don't need 24 f/s. If you do wish to produce a Telecine Video version, you can film with 20 f/s as I explain in the Thread "100' Super 8 ...".

If you're looking for specific projector models, my Sankyo Sound 600 runs both 18 and 24, fwiw.
