Simple. I have a comercial next friday. Lock down camera. Food. So, i need the typical soft light for the food. But i need to simulate some atmosphere: day, night, fancy saloon, etc. So my idea was to set up a basic soft light for all the different "moments" and have a light, in this case is the Key light, to recreate all the different atmospheres.

Any idea?

that sounds good to me. Perhaps add in some subtle filters depending on the atmosphere you're looking for?

Or perhaps light the food as one would see it in a restaurant (one white/orange light above table, fairly dark with dark wood table, etc.) Just a thought!
