If any one has seen the Prestige, maybe you noticed the circular rainbow lens flares...

What causes that?

the lens?
a filter?
something else?

It's so beautiful, I just have to know. Please, help me out, and if you don't know please try to direct me somewhere that might shed a little light.

Thanks,

Leslie

Some of the older Panavision anamorphic lenses create that rainbow flare -- you see it in "Alien" too. I don't know if it's a specific focal length but it seems to be one of the longer one.

"bumgarner" you need to go to My Controls and edit your Display Name to a real first and last name, as per the forum rules listed when you registered for this site. I suspect your name is Leslie Bumgarner though... ;)
