It's a small PSA we put together for a cinematography class. Shot using an Éclair NPR regular16mm, one and a half year old vision2 500T 7218. Sorry it's only youtube I wish i had a better resolution source. Anyways, this is the first time (last may) I was the cinematographer on a bigger more serious project. Anyways....

immediate thought... why not overcrank the cigarette drops shots heaps more ?

at the speed they are they still have a comic effect -

The word TRUTH is that meant to made out of burning cigarettes on end ? cant quite tell...

Hey man, nice work. You kept it simple, I like that.
Keep it up.

thanks for your comments!

We shot everything at 24FPS crystal, so that was gravity at work, and that wasn't really up to me how many fell or how fast. As far as the "Truth" logo, I dont know.

Looks good. Yeah too bad about having to put it on youtube. Doesn't do justice to any clip.

Beautiful work! You deserve some sort of award.

If the ASC don't make you a member within a year I'll eat a Cigarette made from solid gold.

appreciate the comments guys!

and Matthew, it would interest you to know that those in fact were white plastic straws cut in half and wrapped once around with beige masking tape to make it look like a filter. That many cigarettes would have cost us nebulus amounts of cash! No need to eat any cigarettes my friend, but I appreciate the compliments.

As for the youtube quality, I wish I had a web server. We originally mastered to Digibeta and 4:2:2 HD, I feel like youtube does no justice to the work we put into it. Hopefully I'll get a better means of viewing.

Thanks guys
