I picked up this Arri Support piece in a box of old movie equipment. It looks like some kind of baseplate would slide into the top, but I don't understand what the bottom would attach to. It has one opening for a rod on the side, maybe a for a zoom control or something.

Does anyone know what this piece is and what it is used for?

Hi Devon,

It's a camera mount and lens support (mainly zooms) for a 35 llc/b with the motor sticking out of the bottom.
