which one is the best place to learn cinematography basics, lets divide it, In Europe, In US, In Aus.

In Europe - NFTS

US - USC or NYU. However i attend Columbia College Hollywood and i'm having tons of fun and learning so much!

Aus - Have no clue.

in euro i think the best short course is to go to Lodz film fest and take same master class the NFTS has long program

in the us i think the best place for short courses is the main photographic workshops

In US, i found very interesting shorts programs in "The international Film & Video Workshop, Roskport Maine" this guys have a lot of workshops and shorts programs, in different areas and different levels take a look in the website...

The main place in Australia would be AFTRS - Australian Film Television & Radio School.
Dion Beebe & Andrew Lesnie are graduates of the cinematography course.
