Gidday,

recently had a little brainstorm for a nifty effect and need to look at examples of long slow(ish) tracking shots (pans wont work) where the POV is perpendicular to the motion of the camera/dolly...

Long = longer than say 2 secs ...

'slow' = not so fast that there is major motion blur - ie. wide lens or just slow ...

I'm going through my movies now but am yet to find a good example ...

If anyone can think of any from a title that can easily be found on DVD or downloadable (show-reels etc... not youtube though) that would be great ... post details here.

If the shot was of a landscape from a car or otherwise that would be ace ... The more depth in between objects in shot the better ie. large DOF with objects close and far (horizon for instance) - preferably without a person/object also tracking with the shot, although I can work with that if there is nothing else...

Dolly can move in arc's but nothing to extreme (like bullet time)

Odd request yes - I'll get back to you with the results !
