Hi I want to hear to the knowledgeable people of this forum about the quality of old arri STD lenses (to use it with Arri 2c or Arri 3-35 - with PL mount adapter)

What do you think about the quality of Schneider vs. cooke vs. old Zeiss lenses? i would be glad to ear your impression.

Thanks in advance

Hey,

There's a lot of room for subjectivity on this question. However, there are quite a few threads on this topic already (try search feature) which you may find more useful than waiting for new replies. Generally, you'll hear that the Snotter-Crudnuts aren't nearly as sharp as Cookes and Zeiss. You'll hear about an even voting for Cookes as you will for the Zeisses. Then, each person contributing to the thread will mention their fave in either category. All three do their job. Which is better has much to do with taste.
