I'm currently looking into buying the V1U, predominately for documentary and live concert filming, i was wondering if anyone with experience of using this camera in those situations could give me their opinion on how it handles, in particular i'm concerned about low light levels.

I own this V1U, it's an unbelievable picture, it rivals my 10K Sony DSR-390. It can not be used in low light. You must pump up the gain, and even then it's sometimes dark. I only use it outdoors.
