Hi, first post.. In the next few days I'm off to Bonneville to do some shooting and I'll be taking my XL2.. I've got a one shot at this considering I'm travelling half way around the world to get there.. I'm wondering if any of you have shot there before, I'm a little concerned with the amount of light I'll be dealing with from the reflected white salt.. It's a situation that I haven't had to deal with before and as the footage needs to be of good standard I was hoping that some of you may give me some pointers that pertain to the type of filming I'll be doing...
Many thanks

I would probably start as if I was exposing my subject for snow on the ground. Maybe try a circular polarizer to cut down on the glare and a low knee setting. An external monitor would be key.
