I just bough the Sony Z1, I ma getting ready to shoot a documentary. Never work with this camera before. I have some questions for any one with previews experience with it.

What is the most recommended PP to use?

There is a chance I will transfer to 35, should I go shoot 60i or pal?

what about tapes? I was recommended by B&H people to use miniDV digital HD video which cost about 7 dollars, a friend told to use regular mini dv, he says there is not difference in picture quality.

I appreciate your answer or any suggestion you have.
