Hello I was wondering if i could get an idea of what it would cost me to get 100ft of color 16mm film transfered to mini dv. I'm going to call the labs in my area but an aprox. idea would be great. thanx.

Since you're not in LA it'll be a bit more expensive, unless you can cut a good deal.

But it depends on whether you're getting just a one light pass or a supervised one. The lab here in SF charges roughly $400 per hour session, and I spent that long once just transferring 400' of film because I was doing various tests which required a lot of correction.

Only 100', probably about $.30 a foot unsupervised = $30. Most likely about $100 total should you choose to supervise the transfer.
